UpToDate added a new specialty to the database-Dermatology.  The section is organized in major categories:

A Topic Outline provides easy navigation within each section, with headings such as Introduction, Patient Assessment, General Measures, Diseases discussed, Summary and Recommendations. A list of references is provided at the end of each category. Links to “Related Topics” provide additional information, if needed. An extensive number of graphics (figures, pictures and tables) illustrate the manifestations of the diseases that are being discussed. The pictures are linked to VisualDx, a decision-making tool for dermatology published by Logical Images, Inc. UpToDate is available from the Calder Library’s website (http://calder.med.miami.edu) under e-Databases.  A mobile version is available for Android, iPhone, iPad, and Windows 8 tablets.  UpToDate is published by Wolters Kluwer Health.
