The UMH Library underwent extensive renovations during the past summer. In addition, current books were purchased to replace older editions and add new titles to the collection.
Beginning Monday, September 17, books in the UMH Library will circulate outside the Library. A current Calder Library barcode will be required. The UMH Librarians will have barcode application forms available. A barcode can only be issued to patrons with a University of Miami C Number. Barcodes can also be obtained at the Calder Library Circulation Department.
Books will circulate for two weeks, and may be returned at the UMH Library or at Calder Library. Books checked out at Calder Library may also be returned at the UMH Library.
The UMH Library is staffed weekdays from 8:30-12 noon by professional librarians who provide expert searches and other services. When not on site at UMH, they can be contacted by calling the Calder Library Reference Department at 305-243-6648.
